What twist for Amax , .30 cal 178gr

Hi Guys ,

Just got some 178gr for my 308 , its says for 1-10 twist , will it be OK in a 1-12 AW barrel ?

I'm running them out of my Rem 700 PSS which I believe is a 1:12 twist. It holds .5-.7 MOA

I have ran them in my 1:11 twist with very good results.

I've shot them out of a FN SPR with a 1/12" twist at around 2675 f/s . Groups from 3 1/2" - 7" at 1,000 yds . I have also used them in a 30-06 with a 1/10" twist and they did well . You shouldn't have a problem unless your velocity is way low .
