All the calibers I currently load for I am using Forster ultra seater dies and Redding type-s fl sizing dies.

Forster doesn't seem to have anything for the 6.5CM yet and the Redding dies are pricey. Those of you that have used the Hornady dies (specifically for the 6.5CM), anything bad to say about them? Just trying to decide if it's worth spending roughly 5 times as much to go with the Redding over the Hornady. Right now I'm leaning heavily towards the Hornady set.

Any thoughts appreciated...

nothing really bad to say about then, other than they seem to be reliable to be. no regrets here, the money saved by not getting the Redding dies, I can get more projectiles

I use the standard Hornady dies with the micrometer added to the seater. It was the only die set out there when I got it almost 3 years ago and works just fine. The FL die gives me .002" neck tension which is what I want.

I load for the Creedmoor and started with the Hornady dies.

The bullet seater with the sliding sleeve would actually crush a case once in a while during seating. I now use the Hornady dies as sinkers on my spinning rig.

Get the Redding Type S Bushing die set FL, Competition Seater...
You'll be glad you did.
