Picked this gun up a while back just curious what its worth. Having a hell of a time finding a lead free load that will shoot thru this gun. Trying to decide if I want to keep it, build off this action, or just use another 700 action I have. Any advice would help.

Just wanted to know if I got a good deal and some info on the gun not trying to sell on here know the rules
Is it an early or late model (then late model had a floor plate)? Have you been able to get it to shoot with lead core bullets? Unless you are going for an ultralight build I would use a regular action. A couple of years ago I picked up an early model in 270, didn't shoot worth a damn. The issue was lack of bedding and made worse by a really sloppy fit. Anyway, I used my action to make a nice ultralight in 280AI, weighs in at 5lb 13oz with scope.
Check the barreled action to stock fit. You may be a bedding job away from the accuracy you are after.
