I have the 14 and 11 year old...

I was away all week starting a new gig in LA...laughing.

Left LA on Thursday at 6 AM PST and got to my door at 6 PM EST on 10/18.

Wife's birthday was 10/17 which I missed.

Very tired but started cooking for a belated birthday party tomorrow.....4 couples

Drinking bourbon and smoking a fine cigar after the day is done.

I achieved my objectives for today....my crazy short ribs

Judging by the salt in the background, we're looking at 4 or 5 ribs.

On a "maintenance weekend" where I worked all damn day and didn't eat shit, I'd kill that whole pan by myself.

Seriously good looking ribs, though. My mouth is watering ~2000 miles away =)
