Maggie’s What's Your View II

I remember you saying you lived in New Braunfels beautiful country out here. Taking the kids to the river tomorrow. I need to come back this way in my 911 and you show me the hill country backroads I here there are some great twisty roads out this way.
I’ll be instructing at a PCA Auto-X this weekend, and a member at Harris Hill so plenty of go-fast(ish) opportunities.

Set up a couple plates today and did some very slow ready up drills. Had been a long time since I truly did any of those with the intent of working on any fundamentals vs just blasting

Lazy day, and it’s everything I hoped it would be!

Slept in and watched some F1… was gonna prep and paint some cam covers for my truck’s new motor, but after spending almost 10 full minutes sweating my balls off painting some 30-round hate sticks for my PCC, decided to come back in and just hang out with my daughter who’s home from school for the summer.

My view this morning.

It should be this right now. Instead, I'm sitting at the cabin trying not to puke. 🤢

I forced a half cup of coffee into my system, but that just made me poop again. 💩💩
Gatorade helped a little.
🤨

@lash @Schütze and Tad, hope you guys are killing it out there. Looks like a trigger pull morning.

We were @Mike Casselton. Missed you and your supreme spotting skills though. It was a great trip worth doing again. 👍🏻👍🏻

@Schütze and I saw one (about 4.5') on the shoulder of I-75.
He was considering crossing, but hadn't made his move yet.

I tried to telepathically let him know it was a very poor idea.
His chance was a near zero of making it.

😳

I'll play. Probably already marked up, my father bought this stash the first day of the 1968 DC riots.

Hunter’s Haven. Zero Prince Street.
The retail outlet of Interarms.

Haven’t thought of that place in years. I remember when it had a pair of Nebelwerfers parked out front.

I went to high school with a kid whose father was VP of Interarms. I bought my first firearm from Hunter's Haven, Dan Wesson .357 6" heavy vent, it was my work truck gun for 15 years.

I read someplace that back before the gun control act of 1968 Interarms legally sold a 40mm Bofors gun that was used to blow the vault door off a bank.

There’s a long out of print book about the owner that I’ve been trying to find for a reasonable price for a long time.
