Maggie’s What's Your View II

Set the tilt tub in its final resting place this morning. Turned out to be a pretty good looking piece. Everyone wants a bonnet on it now so I guess that’s the next project when I get back to the shop

Working by myself, but a bud let me use his bucket truck. So saved me a million trips up and down the ladders.
Got a pic of the overhead door header I made and then
20200208_143438.jpg
it hooked up to the pulley and lawn mower that pulled it up in place.
I didn't take a shot w it finished, I was drinking some beeros

C Products, Troy, D&H, Okay and Lancer all drop free empty with no effort.

Gen 3 p mag doesn't drop running upstairs with the button mashed.

Not placing blame on any kit. Lower is BA FYI. I didn't dig deep enough to get to the G2 mags

Nah. They love it, and so do we. Jimmy Cracked Corn for a reason. ;) Besides, I've got a very nice clearcut right next to my place that's gonna give one or more in my family a nice Buck or 2. Great entertainment and we are far from the only ones aiding and abetting.

Now tell me, cuz everytime I see your Screen Name, all I can think about is a little device we hook people up with........

I have a hard time throwing out wood scraps, especially solid hardwood trimmings. So I spent way too long gluing up a bunch of 3/4" oak that came from ripping a bunch of boards for a desk I built last year. I didn't really know what I was going to use the glue-up for, but here's the way it turned out:

Looks very nice, did you have an intended purpose for it?

I'm done for the night. Almost ready for the metal on the ends, I'll put up wood for the rake on both ends and put in an entry door on the n side, tomorrow.
1st pic is what I finished last night.

Then what I did tonight, same, but I put girts across the door opening. Right now, I don't think I need an overhead door on the s end but it's ready if I decide to put one in later.

now just a cool shot the way the light is shining on it all. But Damn it's about time to start making money in this thing

My best guess was a holding block for decorating Easter Eggs. :giggle: Best 2nd guess, Reloading Die Holder.

It's a nut rack!

Actually, guess #2 is on the money.

Sex toy storage. You know how those CO dudes are freakin weird......

Yes, yes I am. But not sex toy weird. Now, 1J, he's that kind of weird, especially when cats are involved.

I have been home the last two days, babysitting the insulation contractors.
Another home project crossed off the list.
I HATE crawl spaces, and I swear I'd sleep under there tonight with no concerns.

Day 1 -
Fiberglass itchy fucky shit removal

Day 1-
Felt padded membrane and reinforced 12 MIL Poly Liner installation

Day 2 -
2 inches high density closed cell spray foam applied. Foam board cut and fitted behind and around existing equipment where needed.

Nice looking job. I hate insulation of all kinds. I've since repented, but I belonged to the carpenter's union in the early 1970's and the last jobs to be filled from the union hall were always High & Heavy and insulation; one might get you killed and the other made you itch and cough.
