Should I apply aeroshell then loctite when bedding the barrel or just loctite? And what loctite is the standard here for bedding an ar15 barrel into the receiver?
When bedding barrel with loctite does the loctite serve as grease? And should I use loctite and shims for a BCM thermal fit upper or one or the other?

Loctite 620 to the barrel extension and aeroshell on the upper threads where the barrel nut goes
You shouldn’t need to shim or bed a thermal fit upper. I only bed it with loctite if it isn’t a thermal fit.
