    About prison rape....

Someone needs to update the forum rules on what we CAN and CANT talk about.

or are we going with the whole of snipers hide is a safe space?

Or do I have to go back to facebook for freedom of speech?

When people get banned there's a special forum thread that they are trapped in. It's the only reading and posting they're allowed in. They have to do penance there until Frank is no longer pissed. They are stuck there like pergutory until they kiss the ring.
It got nuked. I have no idea why. Lol
    Well that sounds good anyway

In the disclaimer it still mentions threats and hate speech. Obviously I know what a threat is, but what about hate speech? ANYTHING can be considered hate speech.
Can I hate, Hate speech hating Haters? Or am I one of them? I’m confused.

    It's pretty obvious,

I see you are gonna force me to respond to shit since you are bringing it up in more than one spot

    1. I am not letting the inmates run the asylum
    2. The rules are very clear
    3. If you are gonna attack or play silly games and snipe at me you are gone
    4. House cleaning is good for the soul, you notice we don't house clean the informational sections only the places where you think it is a good look at attack each other and make it look like an episode of Tiger King in here.
    5. I would rather 150,000 quality members than have a handful of jagoffs spit on the floors and piss in the sinks
    6. The cheap shots at my expense don't go unnoticed, just lack public interaction, even the signatures are noted,
    7. I can make a lot of things disappear, in my opinion for the better that many members will never see it came and went

After the recent purge, I am opening the door for more. If you cannot handle my rules in my house and feel the need to rebel, just let me know we can skip the games and take care of it now. I am open to any and all volunteers who want to either commit forum suicide now or feel their accounts need to go. Happy to help

Part of the issue I see, it didn't stop at the Bear Pit entrance, some of you started to carry the games to other posts.

We have new mods, we have a cleaned up house. We are moving to new software in the next few days. So new beginnings with our newly enforced lifestyles.

To clarify a point as it appears lines are being drawn, my private interactions with Tucker were not ones where he simply took a few days off. He even volunteered to leave and I said I asked nothing of him, not to leave, not to quit until he decided to do it on his own. I have unanswered PMs from him about this.

He was mad about the Powder threads, felt guys calling the poster out about shipping used powder was thread crapping. I disagreed. I honestly don't remember if I unbanned the member or if Padom or Rob did, but for sure they were correct and I didn't see what they were saying was thread crapping. He also got a bit upset over the fact I didn't want them to auto-ban members who paid for upgrades. I said they should be given the benefit of doubt before just axing them. This is two-fold:

    1. They are paying customers for sure,
    2. When they get banned, and because we don't sit. you down and warn you, and explain the exact details on why you are banned, we write a simple 140 character that says, you're banned. So they get mad, and immediately put in claim disputes with pay pal. The site runs on pay pal and they overlook the fact we are in the gun industry because we are website, not a dealer. Too many disputes and issues with the payment system can cause a shitload of headaches due to the fact no pay system likes the gun industry. I can get a credit card service faster with a porn site than a gun site. So I want to keep our nose clean. Immediately banning people for minor stuff after they have paid a fee makes this harder. The money is not an issue, I refund immediately, but too many is an issue.

There is a metric ton that happens behind the keyboard many of you don't see and would never see. That tends to help He Said, She Said Conflicts, when you only know one side. I would have no problem producing the private messages for all in regards to that episode. That said, I would not let that one incident define anything. It was an outlier that was taken too far.

I am working several projects at the same time, and really get annoyed with the idea you can control this place or at the very least the constant second-guessing of the way I run the site.

Newsflash this place has been around longer than every one of you, and has been through numerous changes. Members, Software, etc, it's like a weed you can't kill and one with an evil overlord who will in fact fight back. So the cheap shots at my expense are not gonna do you any favors, especially when I am in the mood you all put me in.

We bust our ass to keep this place for everyone, not just the Pit Dwellers who tend to contribute very little except when they think they are being watched.

I am grateful that this platform exists as a beacon to all gun owners and gun rights and where everybody can rely on for news and latest information. Ever since I had joined I made it a priority to be a guiding and useful resource for this community and I am certain we all are, a bit of joking here and there aside. I appreciate all of the hard work that had been put in to creating this platform.

this wasn’t a snipe at anyone. I started it because of a comment on a deleted thread that Blue Country made. I didn’t mind that thread being nuked. I started it to show others to just ignore him, apparently he is gone. I have him on ignore and genuinely didn’t know. I have been here a while, not that it matters length of time, but we have organized a lot of help for fellow members here, even if we’re assholes. We are a family.
    Thank you for your time.

Maybe I'm from a different world where brothers can get together, bust each others balls, share a laugh at someone's expense, say offensive non PC shit, get in fist-to-cuffs, laugh about it, hug, and drink a beer afterwards. Only to reminisce another day.

My apologies, I thought the Bear Pit was that sort of place.

But whatever. Frank's house, Frank's rules. I'm just a guest. Frank, I dont know you but thank you for hosting this perpetual Hootenanny. I'm mostly here for the shooting sports but the bear pit provides good entertainment otherwise.

Some people take this internet persona thing way too serious.

I must be imagining it all

im sorry shit went sideways. But I swear this had nothing aimed at anyone. Call it how you see fit. But it was just a reply to something BlueSkycountry posted. I like the updates and can’t even conceive what work is done on the backside of this forum.
