It’s a rigged game. We all know this. As was said - we all choose from the choices provided. There s no, nor will there ever be, a 100% candidate that is all things to all people. The best that can be hoped for is a guy that damages the citizens the least… of the choices we are given.

That’s what we have. And even at that he’s got tons of opposition and very little control.

Trump is not perfect, but he is the perfect person for our time. He knows how to get things done, and he knows what we are all up against. In 5+ months he has made great strides, and every week our side is getting stronger. Not many persons would have faced all that lawfare, come out on top, and have energy left to campaign and win.

i could reduce it to one single thing, and that was his tax cuts.
i immediately saw benefit, and then the company i worked for also got a tax cut and gave everyone a raise.
this helped me pay off my daughter's college and if he did nothing else, that would have been enough.

Exactly. Both times Trump won was against women who were so unpopular that they couldn't win. So, it might not be much of a compliment but I do consider them NOT being in office a win. As for the other parts that don't seem like we are winning, we need to cull the bad rinos and put in ones that want to turn this place around.

In the first Trump admin, some of Trump's strongest enemies were other republicans who were simply power hungry and wanted to go back to their secret deals with "democrats."

As they say, you can indict a ham sandwich. I would posit, you want to see convictions not indictments. How long do you think it would take to assemble a grand jury to indict someone, let alone to hand down the indictment? How long is the trial going to take? I mean no disrespect, but I think you set your expectations too high. There is progress being made, albeit slowly, but good god man he's only been running the country since the end of January THIS year.

you are pissing me off-because i can not say you are wrong about any in your above 2 posts. your conflating the ROL with fear of losing control should be etched in stone. ashamed i didn't think of it. i know the ROL is a control item. but i didn't see their obsession with maintaining it as manifesting fear and the knowledge that if an anticipated end stage event happens the "right" would lose any acceptance of it. i have always known that the ROL is a distraction item and an excuse to do nothing effective. just didn't add fear to the reasons they push it.

Granted all of that is a good start, but until its permanent and those who singed off on that shit are dealt with, when he is out it will all start over again. Perception and/of the ROL has been used as control tools on a national level starting in the late 1800's and many times during the 1900's. If when that tool goes away, it will all change rather quickly, one of the reasons they fear a national grid loss, or major terror attack all over this nation.
