Does anyone know where I can backorder components? Im getting tired of checking everyday and would rather just place and order and if it shows up in 6 months it shows up. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to share.

Thanks,

Grafs is really good. I haven't had to back order anything but was offered BO on a few things when I called.

get your favorite supplier on the phone. Many times when you talk directly to a manager, they'll make an exception.

Don't know how you are. For me, I want them to take my money the moment I place the order. The last thing I want to happen is several months go by where I've forgotten about the items then get surprised by a charge. I know I'm responsible once I place an order but my memory is only good for a few weeks, after that...got to clear some file room for something else.(getting old sucks)

Wideners, Midsouth, Midway, Natchez, and Grafs will let you request auto-notify when items are in stock. You have to setup an account with each to do it but well worth it. Their notifications have been the way I caught powder the last three times I have bought it. I received the emails on the phone and ordered right then on the spot and was in on each order.

Be forewarned, midways notification system is laggy as hell. Im signed up for notification on 208gr hornady amaxs and havent gotten in stock notification but when I was looking at my wishlist last night it showed it had changed to in stock so I ordered immediately. Now theyre out of stock and I still havent gotten the notification. Makes sense why many of the other popular items I've signed up for were already out of stock when I viewed immediately after I got the in stock email. I back ordered 16#s of varget through midsouth a few weeks ago as I was tired of checking myself. It seems varget hasnt made it to any of the distributors in the last month or two though.
