There are a couple of different adapters and they use different thread depths. One is a .635" deep socket and the other is .750" deep. I'll shoot you an e-mail of the entire AAC Thread Guide, so take a look at sheet numbers 20 and 21. You'll have to measure the adapter to see which one you have....

Thanks, I guess I'll have to call Remington for the exact dimension. The guy today at Smith Enterprises wanted and exact measurement before he would specify which Vortex flash hider I should use.

There is a standard class of threads. Yours should fall into this category. There's only the following

5/8x24 class 3A
5/8x24 class 2A

The suppressor or internal threads are going to be class 3B and will work with either 2A or 3A
