I can attest to the paint-flinging decoration that this would provide.

In 2008, I (we) had a guy walk up to a couple of my boys just outside Ramadi and detonate a vest with approximately 7lbs of C4 - plus ball bearings. There were three other Iraqis standing next to him too. The fling effect was extremely impressive as about 90% of each of the bomber and Iraqi citizens were vaporized/liquified and deposited on the T-barriers. The remaining parts of shins, feet, and hands didn't go far actually. It was like a combination of blood and shit spatter in about 30-40 feet in each direction though. Along with little shreds of clothing.

I fit the remaining chunks of those 4 into a single Hefty bag, and burned it on the trash pile after CID came and did their analysis. Or maybe it was NCIS...I really was focused on other stuff at the time. Somebody came out for an hour or so and went through the motions of "collecting evidence".

For the silver lining: My boys survived, although both are permanently jacked up. However they are still doing well to this day.

In the memoirs "Thank You for My Service" by Mat Best, he talks about investigating a scene where a jihadi was going to blow some people up but his boom-vest went off too early. They were locating parts and pieces. Mat went over a small rise in the ground and found part of an arm. He came back over and asked, "Anyone need a hand?"
