I am starting to seriously look into a suppressor but don't have the faintest clue where to start or what direction to go. So I guess my question is what advice/direction would you give me on suppressors? I obviously know I can't get a can that would go between all calibers but if I could get one that could be the most versatile that would be ideal.
To give you the back ground I have a Rem700 in .243(not threaded but is at the gunsmith as we speak so it can be) and I have a 6.5mm barrel(will end up a 6.5CM) on order that will be here in late Jan early Feb. I plan on having it threaded for a possible brake but now am leaning towards a can. I also own a .17HMR and am planning out a future 300WM or 300WSM Build(cant decide between the two yet) and this one will be definitely be braked or suppressed oh and I definitely will be getting an AR in the future since I sold mine just to start building my bolt gun.
Also I live in Utah So suppressors are legal I just haven't found out if you can hunt with them yet.
