PS - This reminds me of a Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom episode I saw as a kid. Marlin and Jim visited some culture in Africa and one of their games was spears at 100 yards. I remember being somewhat horrified by the scene of two guys removing a spear from the back of a tribesman as Marlin narrated.

Most of the spears/spear heads that I have seen for sale were cheap/MiC, etc. and are intended mainly for show. Good luck finding one that is actually made to be used, unless you order custom.

Man pmclaine, I remember Wild Kingdom, or should I say "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" as they never said just Wild Kingdom. I used to watch that show every Sunday or whenever it was on and I 100% agree, where is great tv like that these days, thanks for the flashback

There is a spear handle made to attach to the Randall survival knife. Aftermarket, but very high quality. Google it.

I have a cold steal boar spear that I used on a Russian boar. Not really made for throwing but I practiced throwing. I got a nice black sow. Took me three times but the last shot, she ran with the spear in her side for 30 yards, hit a few trees, spun a few times and dropped dead.
