I just received two front covers, and two battery compartment seals from them a couple of weeks ago. The covers I received are marked “FLIR”, not “OSTI”, and appear to be made of a more flexible material. I hope that translates as a more durable material.

Sounds like the FLIR I know. I think both FLIR and L3 use the same customer support personnel.
The lady I dealt with was Kathleen Neault. The number I posted is her direct line. I tried it a few minutes ago, and got her voicemail. Her email is [email protected].
I first looked up FLIR online, and called the listed support number. I bounced around from department to department. It seemed like no one knew who in the company dealt with these units. I was even told that they weren’t making them anymore, and that parts were unavailable. I kept trying and eventually I got in contact with Ms. Neault. She was very knowledgeable, and it was at that point that it became customer service. She handled my requests in a very professional and friendly manner. Shipping was fast and she even followed up with an email to let me know it had shipped, and included a copy of the invoice.
