Where to get a Redding T7?

Re: Where to get a Redding T7?

The best I've seen is $196.35 + shipping from DNRSports.com. Not sure if it's in stock but even they have to order it, I'm sure it will come a lot quicker then trying to find a used one.

You need to jump on that one. Lowest price I've seen in years.

Turret presses are about convenience, not precision. A well made turret press such as the T7 will approach the precision of an equally well made BB II, UltraMag, or Forster Co-Ax, etc., but will not match it. The play necessary in the turret head to allow you to turn the turret simply is not there in a single stage press.

I should clarify... play, in and of itself, is not necessarily detrimental to precision (look at the floating die retention on the Forster Co-Ax). But play that imparts a tilt to the die (as happens with a turret held by a central pivot bolt).

Re: Where to get a Redding T7?

IMO the t/7 just works. Loads as fine of ammo as can be done with anything. I can set one up to get less than .001 runout measured at the ogive. Not a problem at all.
And concentric ammo would be the test. IMO
