So I've decided to hold off on the lug lapping. After a lot of research and talking to custom gunsmiths, I'm gonna wait till I wear out the barrel on my rifle. At that point I'll have the action trued, lugs lapped etc... I was advised that on a relatively new rifle (about 400 rds ), it could cause more trouble than just leaving it the way it is. Also, I doubt that I personally would notice a difference in accuracy, due to my current shooting ability. ( I'm kind of a boot to long range, precision rifle shooting. )
