Where to shoot in ventura county

I am moving. I'm headed to Oak Park, Ventura county Ca (Ka?) and I need a place to shoot a few hundred yds. does anyone know where to go? I know about angeles range but that is all the way in burbank and I am hoping there is a closer range.

Pistol ranges would be appreciated too.

Angeles is the closest that I can think of, everything else outdoors is farther away. Indoors there is Shooter's Paradise in Oxnard or The Firing Line in SFV, I prefer The Firing Line in Burbank near the airport to any of the other indoor ranges that are still open.

Try Lake Piru has pistol,rifle. Good place for comps there.

You might try up in Rose Valley, North of Ojai There
was a CB base in past years and some open country......

Our favorite two places are APS in Saugus and Wes Thompsons in Piru...Piru has paper to 400 and steel all the way out to 1000 yards. You'll find us at one of the two most every weekend. Hope to see you there!!
