Anybody know of any rifle ranges near Houston or Austin tx that have steel targets set up for rifles? Travis county sheriffs....also know as hill county rifle range in dripping springs oustide Austin is gone. Anyone know where I can blast steel other than impact zone outside of Houston?

For everyone else, yes. For you, they have a deck of playing cards you can shoot at 1000.

Looks like a nice place, bit expensive though, might check it out this spring.

I was at the Texas Shooting Range about 2 weeks ago shooting the TX State two gun match. It was my first time there and it seem like a good range. There rifle range goes out to 1000 yards. They also have berms at different yards lines. They also have about 8 shooting bays set-up in a horseshoe. One of the bays you can shoot out toward the 1000 yard berm.

I just found a place where "people in the know" practice offhand head shots with pistols at 1000m. PM me for info, I'm sure you will be interested.

All you gota do is hit your playing card , you know it's easy we don't have to do anything any more its easy
