Which 300 Blackout barrel between these two?

Between these two, which would you choose? Will shoot 110gr all the way up to 220gr so the 1:8 twist Rainier, I don't know how it would do.

No experience with either, but my 8.2" 300BO barrel is a 1:7 twist and runs all projectiles from 110gr to 220gr (after drilling the gas port because all barrel MFR's seem to NEVER size them correctly [IMO]).

I don't think a 1:8 twist is going to be sufficiently different, but you might want to read independent reviews of each before you purchase.

I'd say flip a coin. Both are good barrels. I wouldn't burn too many brain cells trying to decide. 300 BO isn't a match round and it doesn't have the practical range to require anything more than decent accuracy.

I run a $100ish 8" Ballistic Advantage and it'll blow the center out of a 2" paster at 100 yards with a 3.5x ACOG running 110gr AAC Sabers. Besides, in my experience, for some reason, .30 cal rounds tend to exhibit an inherent accuracy. Unless you get something out of a trash heap, whatever you get will likely shoot more than well enough.

Hint hint....the Ultramatch are Criterion blanks done by Craddock..... and they shoot lights out. Ive tested 4 so far....
