Gunsmithing Which 308 chamber

Hi all,
I need some help with which chamber i should go with in my rem700 in 308. I plan on using the 175gn SMK projectiles. Ideally i want a round that wont be any longer then 2.800" so it will fit the magazine but i want to be close to the rifling so i can chase the lands as it wears.
