Just a fun hypothetical to get you through another day of Coronacation! You're an avid rabbit hunter, but you've spotted a Jackelope and you just NEED a .375 Ruger to put that beast down. However, no mere factory action will do - this IS the Hide, after all. As you commence construction of your Jackelope Stacker, who's action do you select (and which caliber are you getting your "spare" barrel in)?

Just get a Ruger M77; It won't fail you. Wear good shoes when shooting that 375; I had one with a 20" barrel that kicked me into yesterday and then I had to walk back.

You know, I'm not sure how I feel about ARC. Though I'm not surprised to see them mentioned - TL3, Mausingfeld...if the preference for Jackelope slaying is CRF, there aren't so many options. I admire the Ruger for what it is, but the M77 action is not a personal preference of mine. Of course, when it comes to .375 in factory rifles the pickings are slim indeed.

that's why I specified the M5 over the nucleus/archimedes/M7 mausingfield
