I’ve been running Harris style bipods for several years now and I’m ready to try an atlas. I’m torn between the PSR and the CAL gen 2 and was hoping for some input. My main concerns are will the panning feature of the PSR be beneficial? Also the CAL seems to have a wider footprint when collapsed, would that be to bulky when backpacking? My hunting rifle has a McMillan A5 which has a wide fore end, I just don’t want the bipod to be wider.

TBAC works well and is quick.

I have the PSR too and it is good for an AR or something but it ends up panning when you dont want it to

i have the cals on everything these days but for 99% of my hunting i am shooting from my rrs tripod. 1000x more versatile and capable than a bipod and can be used like a bipod if need be prone.

Thanks for the input guys! Decided to try the PSR. Ordered direct from B&T on Saturday and received it yesterday, holy shit this thing is nice. Can’t wait to shoot off of it!
