Rifle Scopes Which base and rings?

Hi guys, I am newbie here (but not in the field of firearms...) and I need some advice because I am affording the set up for a tactical scoped rifle that I want to use for long range shooting up to 1000 yards.

I choosed a Remington 700 Police and now I must put base and rings on it.

I choosed the Badger Ordnance base with forward cant of 20 MOA and as optic a Leupold Mark 4 LRT 4.5-14 x 50 with TMR reticle and M1 turrets.

Now I am in trouble with ordering rings because I don't know with height (I prefer the ones similar to the USMC rings for 30 mm. scope tubes) I must use with that optic.

Another serious question is WHICH is the BO model I must choose for the Remington 700 Police (is a short action) I must choose. The distributor for Italy (Midway) does not refer to the part naming used in BO website so I am in little confusion.

Can anybody help me?

For rings I would recommend a center height of 0.823" to 0.885". Badger make a 0.823" and 0.885" Leupold rings start at 0.885".
