Which bolt knob?

I'm thinking about sending my bolt off to EGW to have it threaded and a knob installed. I've never used anything but a standard Rem 700 bolt and they have 3 to choose from.



What has your experience been with the aftermarket offerings?

I've only ever had Karl @ Kampfeld Customs do any bolt knobs for me, and these are all on hunting rifles. This is his Campfire knob which is really nice, again this is for more of a hunting rig.

Karl does top notch work. I was fortunate enough to meet him and see his shop. His children took me around the property while he did my knob. Karl has many more then just 3 choices.

I also had Karl at Kampfeld Customs do mine as well. Hell of a nice guy and let me come in and see his shop and watch him work. He also did the cerakote on my rifle as well.
