what brand is the manufacturer there are a lot of companies that load ammo. also if you look at one it will have the brand stamped onto it.

If it is in the Lapua factory box and headstamped Lapua...it is as Wild Bill states.

Brand is Federal Gold Medal, but on the case is "L" sign.

I do not want to use the Federal brass for this.

IF that is what the headstamp is with the federal ammo, i'm going to go out on a limb and say that is lapua brass due to the "l" being the lapua symbol.
