I wanna upgrade the trigger in my GAP-10 and it's gonna be a Geissele. I'm torn between the SSA-E and the DMR. I do a lot of precision shooting and occasionally hunt with this rifle. Help me decide.

The DMR is much nicer. Adjustable sear contact and pull weight, plus lock time is shorter. The SSA-E is nice too but it's step down from the dmr for sure.

I actually prefer the "match rifle" trigger over the dmr though. Its basically the dmr with lighter 1st and 2nd stages. Great for precision shooting.

I had a chance to shot rifles with both the DMR and the SSA-E. I choose the SSA-E because I felt the DMR on the rifle I shot was just to light a pull for me. But both are great triggers and you can't go wrong with either.

I'm not the biggest Geissele fan but if one has their heart set on one, they should get one of the Hi-Speed flavors. DMR or Match should be perfectly fine. You can tune it to be the perfect trigger for you. Why get a trigger that is only good enough for everyone else.

Another for the Match/Match trigger. Very adjustable and crisp, when set up acc'd to instructions. Have 1 DMR and 3 Matches, as well as SSA-E's and won't step backwards with any other future builds.

They are close but the Hi Speed is superior.
I have a couple of them and several SSA-E's
I only put the Hi Speed DMR/Match on my best shooters.
PS, Rainier Arms ships the Hi Speed with all the spring set combinations including Match/Service/DMR.

DMR. I just put one in my MWS upgrading from the SSA-E. The adjustability makes it perfect for any shooter and their preference. I wish I got the one with all 3 springs (Match, DMR, and Service). Although I'm perfectly happy with the DMR spring.

Looks like the DMR has the consensus. I like the DMR for the precision stuff too. I have them on my 18" and 20" AR's and they fit the bill for the more precision work. My SSA-e's are on AR's that get a little more aggressive use. That's my application but your choice will be up to how you intend to use it.
