Pretty simple task I think, but not sure who to contact about it. I just want an endcap made to protect the threads of a 20" factory barrel 5R. Nothing fancy, just match the barrel contour and finish. Any suggestions? Preferably someone that isn't backed up with work and can turn it out reasonably quickly. Thanks in advance.

if you are not a real stickler for it matching the exact outside diameter of your barrel these work great

Thanks for the link. Good to have a ready to order option. That brings up another couple questions since I don't have the rifle in hand yet- Can anyone tell me the OD at the muzzle of a 20" 5R .308, and what is the thread pitch? Thanks again.
Brad Johns at Phoenix Custom Rifles did my entire build, he blends the thread caps to where you can't see where it starts or ends. He did a blended recessed target crown typ end cap on mine, amazing work. And on the small odds and ends type jobs they usually have turn around times of 2 or 3 weeks.

If you have the measurements, contact Ross Schuler. I emailed him my measurements in the morning and he had it in the mail the same afternoon. Thread protector was the same contour as my Remmy and a 11 degree crown. It was in the white and knurled and the price cant be beat. . http://home.comcast.net/~MOA_Shooters/RossMuzzleBrakes.htm
