I've run out of Winchester large rifle primers and want to try some new primers...I know that I'll have to re-work my loads. In your opinion, which primers are more consistent? (Price is similar)

CCI BR2 Large rifle Bench Rest or
Federal Large Rifle Match (FdGM210M)

I'll be shooting it out of my TRG 22 (308 1 in 11 twist 24"). My TRG loves the 175grn SMK or Hornady CC.

Re: Which LR match primer?

I have used most all of them. I've seen 210M's missing anvils (which will not allow the primer to go off) and some not ignite with good firing pin hits. I've been testing CCI #200 and #250, and I'm switching all my primers over to this. They are very consistant, easier to find, less expensive, and they flip over on a primer tray very easy.
I still use 210M's in my comp 260 gun, but when I re-work a new load, I'll switch them to CCI #200's.

See I am doing the oppisite ... I have used CCI 200 and CCI 34 and I am switching to Federal 210M They are more pricey but my average speed is much more consistant. With the CCI 200 there was a lot varrience at least for me.

I use the fed GMM primers and have had great luck with them.
