I'm currently shooting a .308, but I have a feeling that I may be moving someplace very far south and west where I may need a magnum rifle (if you get my drift).

As such, I'm looking to buy a .30 cal can that is magnum-capable just to make sure I'm covered for the future. My dealer is pushing me toward the Liberty Freedom, which I'm not opposed to. He also said good things about the Thunder Beast 30P-1 and the AAC 300-TM.

My rifles are already long and heavy, and so I'm not too worried about weight. I want the suppressor primarily as a recoil reducer, although the sound qualities are great, too.

I would prefer a threaded can at this time.

$$$ isn't a huge concern as the $200 tax kills any real difference between them.

    What do you guys think?

look into the Thunderbeast 338BA, even though it is made for a 338 it does a great job on 30 calibers. Plus this will also insure that if you do step up to a 338 down the road you will already have one of the best suppressors available to use with it.

you could jump on that templar suppressor group buy too. I've heard good things about them also.

I personally have a AAC 300TM on order, they should be starting to mfg them here in the next couple of months if it all works right.

Thunderbeast is a great can and a 30P-1 is rated up to a 300wm. Also YHM Phantom is rated for any 30 caliber and they offer a stainless steel thread mount. Its a no frills can but its tuff as hell.

How long will it take me to get one?

We have these in stock so if you have a local class 3 dealer that will accept a transfer, we can get one to them pretty quick. Purchase out of state and you can save yourself sales tax. Send me a PM or give us a call with any questions.

I'll second the Thunderbeast 30P-1. Excellent can!! Currently running on on a 308 AI, a 7mm Rem Mag & soon a 6.5 CM.

I believe Steve @ Colonial Armory (rangerwalker71) has some in stock currently.

I do have a FFL/SOT locally that can transfer, I just have to decide what to get!
