Which muzzle break for 6MM for PRS

Looking at the APA little bastard and the 419 hellfire. Any suggestions from the 6mm PRS guys?

I love my Area 419 Hellfires. You can't go wrong with either one though.

I have a hellfire and a patriot valley jet blast, can't really tell much difference between them. Most of the good quality brakes on the market will be very close in performance and feel. Whichever you pick you'll be in good shape.

I switched from an APA to the 419 and found I actually stayed on target a little better with the 419. I also like their mounting system better than the APA one.

I've used both you mentioned, but currently use an Impact Precision when I'm not shooting suppressed. Excellent ability to stay on target, straight ports so it's not ridiculously loud to the shooter and times easier than anything else I've used.

It also doesn’t suck to shoot next to a 419. I’ve shot on plenty of close platforms and never had a problem with them next to me

I use APA's FatBastard in my 6XC, works great, just make sure it is the Gen 2, it comes with the jam nut.

I just didn't like that 2 piece design. And the POI shift was massive. Excellent brake, I just prefer the apa

We have taken them off very little but with 3000 rounds they need cleaning. I’ll have to check the POI shift. Not a big deal here in Missouri because with weather you have to check your zero every match

I did not miss the Missouri when I left there. However, a few moves later and now I'm in Tennessee. Equally as shitty.

I use 30cal LB’s. Work as good as I need them to.

So it doesn’t matter if I accidentally put a the wrong brake on a barrel when I clean them.
