Hey all. I'm in the final stages of dialing in this year's PRS load and was looking for some feedback.
Load components: Nosler brass, CCI 250 and BR-2 primers (thus two lines, H4350 powder, and 140gr ELD pills.
Rifle: ARC Nucleus action, 21" Criterion barrel, SilencerCo Omega 300 can.
I validated the higher node (43.9gr) at distance and, based on drop, the Kestrel trued up velocity to 2794fps. This does product a bit of head shine and I know this is at the edge of compressed and seems to shoot well.
Looking at the chart below, would you load for the higher node (43.9gr) or step down to then next lower node (~42.7gr) for your match ammo?
