Don't get me wrong, I like cars and vehicles. However when it comes down to long term passion, hobby, and even career, it is firearms for me. Been that way since as young as I can remember. In second or third grade, I thumbed through some really antigun childrens' books at the school library just to look at gun photos, and came to have a fascination with revolvers. Even at that age, I had read the doom and gloom "statistics" on gun violence and "if you own a gun, there will be more chances that it will be used against you or a family member" and all that usual crap, and thought "what a bunch of absolute BULLSHIT." People are killed in accidents, die from illnesses, and murdered by scumbags in far more different ways than with guns. Doing "current events" assignments where we had to cut articles out of newspapers and reading about all of the depraved shit happening every day only reinforced my desire to be armed at all times...

For cooling the interior. In most states you would put ice in it, in the S/W it would be filled with water,...aka highspeed swamp cooler.

True. With no chamber to contain the pressure, even a magnum load of buckshot is going to mostly just "pop". I wouldn't want to get hit by it, but it would be a minor injury at most. I used to shoot 12 ga. shells in the primer with my .22 when I was a kid. They just made a pop, and split open. Often there was still a small amount of shot left in the hull.
What is the silver car its not any vet i know of and not a Camaro. Its interesting. I prefer 4x4 rigs with that being said i drive tdi jetta wagon ?.

edit to add as some of you may not go back that far, it's a 1964 Pontiac Banshee XP-833 proto type never went into production. Shame as it would have gave Corvettes a run for their money but GM stopped it for that reason IIRC.

Yes. A rattler might bite me, but it ain't going to try to file a red flag order against me. Rather deal with antivenom infusions than long court battles to get my prized possessions back.
Heard enough of that shit across various boards already to know that it is a real and tangible danger.

Each in their mileau is just as dangerous to the unsuspecting victim.
You are in the Joshua Tree National park, hiking, 30 miles from the car, in 110° weather when a loose rock, oops, u fall, and the rattlesnake hits you in the carotid, twice.
You are in the Smokey Mountains hiking the AT, and asleep in your sleeping bag in a shelter when the copperhead hits you several times.
You are in the Everglades, swamp grass has fouled the prop, stripped the drive gear (you will find that after you clear the grass), and while working to clear the grass, the bed of cotton mouths you step in, nails you.
Or, in LA (lower Alabama), 27 miles from the ER, in the swampland cotton fields, you are greasing the bushhog drive shafts, and the rattler, cottonmouth, or copperhead that spent the night under the bushhog attaches themself to your leg, feels like you got hit by a baseball bat, and you knock yourself unconscious on the tractor cab extension trying to get snek off your leg and you out of the hitch apparatus and hoses back there.
Or, you sleep late one too many times after the bitch stormed out of the house last night, just like she did the last four arguments over her catching you with her sister, and you didnt think you perhaps should have cached at least half of your collection of stuff, just in case. After all, she did warn you....
Each in their mileau, the circumstances of each incident, both can be equally dangerous.
