During my vacation, i was traveling through a very rural part of West Virginia and came to a intersection . Out of the corner of my eye, i saw what appeared to be a Gatling gun at the corner of someones yard along the sidewalk setting on some 4x4. Told the wife that i had to turn around to go...

Why someone would allow such a priceless piece of history to fall into this state of ruin is beyond imagination... I would love to see a restoration attempt on that gun, although even if successful, it will turn out to be like the proverbial "old" axe... Which had one head and two handles replaced already.

Maybe it’s a battlefield find... metal detecting ornout in woods. Stranger things have happened. How much did he want for it???
