I’m trying to put together a rifle to try and get introduced into mid-long range shooting, I can’t seem to find a good scope base that isn’t $300-$450. I was hoping to get some advice or suggestions from everyone in here with way more experience than me, thanks in advance

At a minimum you'll need to tell us what rifle (i.e. Remington 700 long action) and dia of scope tube and objective (30mm tube / 50 mm obj). Is the rifle in a stock with adjustable comb? Chassis? Chassis with forearm tube over top of barrel? Make / model of scope? More info will get you better info.

Budget, rifle, and scope you’re using?

If they make a base for the rifle you are using Badger Ordnance is what I would recommend.
I've used thier 20MOA bases on rem 700 and savage rifles and they are a quality item, well made with excellent machinework and finish.
If you want something with the strength of steel and weight of aluminum check out Murphy Precision titanium bases.
Not sure what bases you've been looking at or for what rifle but none of the ones I listed are even close to the $300-$400 mark you stated.

It’s a Remington 700 short action with a vortex viper HS 4-16x44 with a 30 mm tube and it’s the magpul hunter stock

In that case get a Badger Ordnanace 20MOA steel base and whatever rings you prefer, Seekins Pecision are excellent rings.

I’m only 19 but with no expenses and just something with in reason when it comes to price preferably under $300 but for the quality I could maybe go a little over. It’s a Remington 700 short action with a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44 with a 30 mm tube and a magpul hunter stock

EGW base and quality rings 1" or less height. I like nightforce, but have used others. Research mounting scope and torque for base, rings to base and rings to spec'ed value. This is very important! Do not buy some stuff and start bolting together without understanding what you're doing.
