Rifle Scopes Which Scope to choose?

I recently purchased a RAP in 6.5CM and am looking at different scopes to use. Right now i'm looking at the Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP or the Athlon Argos BTR. The only thing i've really decided on is that I want the scope to be a FFP. What experience have you guys had with these scopes? Or is there another scope I should be looking at. I'd like to keep the cost under 400, but like anything this is subject to change.
I'm not sure on the process, but would it be worth it to move to a 1 piece rings on the RAP or should I just roll with the factory weaver mount? Thanks for the help guys.

I have a Diamondback Tacticaxl FFP 4-16x44 and it seems to be a very good scope for the money. I have limited mileage with Argos BTR. It is a decent scope for the money, but I think with this budget, I prefer the 4-16x mag range.

Reticles are in the eye of the beholder.

Either of those scopes would be a good choice, honestly. Similar performance and warranties (had good experience with both Vortex and Athlon warranties), so it really should just come down to which reticle you prefer. If you get the Argos BTR I would recommend the 6-24 over the 8-34 since the 8-34 image gets a bit dark at higher magnifications (not terrible, but not great either).

If you can stretch your budget just a little though, the Midas Tac is a fantastic option for only a bit more. The glass and turrets on the Midas Tac are head and shoulders above both the Diamondback and the Argos.

+1. If you can maybe find a deal or a used Athlon Midas Tac it might be worth the tad extra.
