Which SPUHR do I need?

‘Morning gents, I’ll be mounting a NF 5-25 ATACR (56mm Obj) on a BAT action (20 MOA rail) that is in a MPA Competition chassis.... question is: Can I use 1.18” Spuhr liked the 4001?... or is they’re something I’m missing?...cause I miss shit...all the time.

I have a Steiner T5Xi 5-25 56mm obj. on a Nucleus action with a 20 MOA rail in a chassis and run the 4001. There is about 0.4" clearance between the bell and barrel.

Are you going to plan to put an objective cover on? That's going to be awful tight with the 1.18".

About 0.4" clearance. I run mine sometimes with scope caps, sometimes with sunshade, sometimes with a DFAT with no clearance issues. Pics can be provided if necessary.

Yes I believe the NF comes with Tenebrex covers, I’ll get the 1.35 just to be sure thanks

@EchoDeltaSerra says that he gets about 0.4" clearance with a SP-4001. If that is the case then you may be better off with the 1.18". Just depends on how you like it in the end.

I alway have preferred the lowest possible optic mount. Here's how it looks with caps on, there's plenty of space to work with.

Make sure the bottom of the turret housing won’t touch the mount. In the 4001 you might or might not clear it since it’s really low...
