I voted for Return of the Jedi. I know the Ewoks were cheezy but I loved the Moon of Endor. I think being a Biker Scout would be a kick-ass job.
My wife and I used to vacation in the Crescent City/ Smith River area with the intent of finding where the Endor scenes were filmed. Here's a picture of my bike in 2007, only a couple miles from where it was filmed. As a side note, much of the area you see in the movie was on private property and has been logged.

Sweet GS Jedi. I jumped a set of RR tracks on mine and broke one of the frame /engine mounts on the block. Its been rewelded, but it is a good reminder that the BMW urban assault vehicle is not totally bullet proof.

Thanks Searcher. As a side note I totalled that GS a couple months after this picture was taken...going way too fast off-roading in a BLM. Haha. They give the illusion of being a true dirt bike but you're correct that they are not bullet proof. I replaced that one with another '07 GS, which I recently sold for a 2010 F800GS. I'm in love with the 800...you lose a little of the highway comfort (although with a Corbin seat and aftermarket screen you don't give up too much), but for fire-roads and rough terrain it is a much easier bike to handle.

Don't feel bad, I'm something of a Star Wars nerd myself. I wish I still had all the action figures, some of those are worth a pretty penny these days. We gave most of ours to our cousins back when our folks decided to clean out the toy collection. lol I also used to play the SW roll-playing game back in high school with friends.

Empire. The ending left me sick wanting to see the next chapter. I have never wanted to see a sequel so bad.

I was sure that the new hope would be the number one, the empire is my least favorite out of the original 3, just seems like a filler between 2 bigger storied movies

Empire is where all the drama really happens. New Hope was all character set and setting set up, Return was all the final face off. Empire shows the power of the empire, breaks out the hideous truth about Vader and Luke, creates tension between Luke and Leia, crushes you over Solo's demise, just a roller coaster of a ride.

I am honestly torn between Empire and Sith. I know I know, the first three were garbage lol. But Sith was the fall of a Republic that had been around for thousands of years. We finally got to see Anakin go to the dark side and temporarily be a badass Sith. Unfortunatly he was written as a emotional bitch for half of it and ruined it. But overall it had the same dark conflict that Empire had. Just a though....

i agree, while when I was a kid I felt empire was disappointing, as i became older i appreciated the film immensely more than the other 2. Sith was great, the final clash was epic and I liked all the darkness.

I voted for "Return of the Jedi" on the spur of the moment but I must concur with the majority about "Empire". I must also say though that being born in 1971 and seeing Star Wars in the movie theater was very influential. I loved it!!! Thats what got me hooked on the whole Star Wars thing. Now this next statement might twist some panties but I was too enthralled with the latest 3 movies. Call me an old timer I guess!

When I first saw Empire as a kid I had never seen a movie where the good guys didn't win. This was the first time the bad guys came out on top and it was sort of scary, the power of the dark side was powerful indeed.

When I first saw Empire as a kid I had never seen a movie where the good guys didn't win. This was the first time the bad guys came out on top and it was sort of scary, the power of the dark side was powerful indeed.

Can't we all save judgement until after Lucas has redone and re-released at the theater all of the movies in 3D?
Hopefully, 3d will add character development to the first 3 movies.
I find it sad that I enjoy the Cartoon Network "Star Wars, The Clone Wars" series much better that the first 3 movies. The character development is so much better and the acting (due to a cartoon) isn't as bad as the movies.

Storm Troopers heads getting cut off, the force crushing the life out of the bystanders, Obi wan hinting before the final blow that Padme had children, it could be awesome!!!! They should redo ep 4 and leave Empire alone.

Once someone starts reading the expanded universe books and learning more of the background and overall picture of what has happened in the prequals, the original three tend to be pretty weak. Flame suite on lol.

The original is still the best.
Especially if you were lucky enough to see it in a real theatre at a time when bell-bottoms were 'in', hard rock was King, and the special effects were cutting-edge.

ALL of the ORIGINALS kick ass... why? because they contain stormtroopers, anything containing them in their ORIGINAL form (none of that bloody clone crap) can only be a winner, HOWEVER, Empire was gracious enough to introduce us to the likes of the classy AT-AT driver and Snowtrooper varients and Jedi brought us the stylish speederbike scouts!

What I'd like to have is the original three on DVD with NONE of the 'new' special effects, scenes added or edited. Like Greedo shooting first! In what world does that make sense???
I wouldn't mind them being digitally remastered and cleaned up but that's it.

That's easy.......Empire! I couldn't tell you how many times I've watched this movie growing up. I do know I wore out the trilogy vhs tapes more than twice.
