Which Stock for CZ 527?

In a couple months my CZ 527 action will have a new Pac-Nor installed, and I need a new stock to accomidate the heavy barrel. I am trying to decide if I should go with the $300 HS stock or try to find another stock. I don't really want to spend $500 on a stock and the more I spend on a stock the less I have for optics.

Is the HS going to be a waste of money or will it get the job done?

In my limited research, I've found that the aftermarket options for the CZ are pretty limited. If you want synthetic I think the HS is your only option.

If you don't mind wood, Richard's microfit does inlet for the 527. I got mine second hand so I can't speak for their service or wait, but it only took minor final fitting.

Do you have the kevlar stock on the 527? If so, spend a few bucks to have it milled out for the new barrel. IMO, I like the HS kevlar stock the CZ 527 comes with.

By the way, Six 4 sure where is Southern IL are you? I am in Columbia. Great to see southern IL gents here.

The HS that the varmint model comes with is a pretty nice stock. Bed it and go.
