I just dropped a thread for experience/review of white oak uppers. Everyone said they were great. There is a 16 week wait but i found a like new 26" 1to8 twist.223 on another website. Thats a pretty freakin long barrel. What are your thoughts ... wait and get a 20" or 24"? What grain bullet would you have to push through a barrel that is 26" long? Is there any advantages to a super long barrel? Im not worried about weight.
Thanks

Velocity.

The 26" WOA upper would be a great upper for target shooting, varminting, see them in F class @ 600 too.

I also see them @ 1000 yards with 80-90 grain bullets.

You should be able to shoot any bullet from 50s to 80+ and they will be MOVING!
