Around here teachers dont get laid off. They just don't renew them at the end of the year. I.E. We decided to not give you a contract for next year.

Schools laying people off. All the money for their salary was budgeted for at the beginning of the year. If they are going to be let go, its going to be because their position was eliminated. Once again, not layoffs. Anyone ever here of the government laying people off?
