I'm trying to narrow down a chambering to play with the new 95gr SMK's and I've somewhat dead ended on the 22x47L. I want something I don't have to fire form or do any major prep work for yet a straighter bodied sharper shoulder cartridge. I thought about 22 creed as well but based on data I think it's going to have too large of a capacity for what I'm looking to do.
So to those who have run it, I'd be very interested in hearing from those who have run the heavy bullets. Specifically 90gr bullets but I'm interested in anything 80gr+ as I can guesstimate off of your data. What velocity are you seeing? Barrel length? Powder? Other powders used and velocity achieved with them?
