Just finished up my 6.5 x 47 Lapua. I need someone to engrave/laser engrave , the caliber designation on the barrel.

If you fellows know of someone who could also cerrakote at the same time.... that would be a plus.

Thanks for the assistance.

I recommend Kampfeld Custom out of Michigan, Karl has done a great job on a few for me. He'll be moving shop to Idaho in the near future too. He uses a CNC engraver and his cerakote is top of the line work.

Longrifles Inc. Does very nice CNC engraving, and Cerakote work. He can do any kind of "non standard" engraving. He did a beautiful job on my .338 Lapua using the Lapua logo.

Arno Erhardt at Capitol Sports in Helena built me a rifle years ago. The engraving on the barrel and dies is a thing of beauty. Pretty local to you.Might be worth a call.

LAST major work Arnold did for me was my .338-06 back in 2000. I never thought of him for the engraving. Thanks!

The "cav" inference...An old Air Troop, 163rd or 189th Aviator??

"C" troop i/9,!st Cav. div.

MHP237,I think I recognize that #! Did you used to drive around in a black and white car? Lights on top, shield on the door said something about 3-7-77? Old Vigilante connotations methinks.
Just pulling your chain but I think we've met,and yeah I was going to fast!
Pics of your rifle look great! Enjoy!

But I'll bet I let you slide! LOL.

Thought you may have been one of the MT Aviation Unit guys...with the "Cav" moniker. I was a Scout in the MT Unit for almost 20 years, in OH-58's.
