Fieldcraft Who is the ghillie guru for volume material?

If you can't find what you're looking for, try getting large rolls of jute twine and unbraid a few feet or so and tie each end around a tree, branch, fence post, etc., approx. 15-20 feet apart from one another. Unspool the twine and attach a drill to the other end. Have a second person "comb" the three braids (not true braids, just twisted) apart as they unravel as the drill turns. Then go back and cut at 18-24" intervals while cord is under stress. It's a fast way to turn a ball of 3 braided jute twine into a pile of fluffy jute ready for dye. Jute done this way fluffs up quite a bit so don't underestimate that small ball of jute twine. You could do several hundred feet by noon. This is how I did it when I had to make one, I hated tearing apart sand bags one thread at a time!
