Who makes two-piece scope bases for a Remington 700 short-action? I would like a set with 20 MOA of incline.

I know Nightforce makes a set, but before I commit, I'm curious if there are other choices.

    Thanks

Hi i dont like them at all they can be fixed tot he rifle in diferent planes allowing you to place stress into your scope and bend the tube. If you have to use 2 piece bases just make sure you have a steel bar with rings attached to it connected to your bases then screw the bases down with bedding compound under them just snug so there is no tension this way they will at least bedded inb line otherwise you can do a lot of damage. is it for weight reduction or having an open loading port? if the latter get a rail with the scolop cut over the bolt port but is still a 1 piece if it is weight get a light weight titanium one piece rail.

Tac Ops makes a <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">22 MOA</span></span> mount for it. They also make 15 MOA, 34 MOA, 40 MOA, and now 60 MOA as well. All are coated in <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Birdsong Black-T</span></span> along with the TorX screws. Mel at Sniper Central sells them on the <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Sniper Central web store site</span></span> under the Sniper Central name.

Although only the 15 MOA and 22 MOA sets are listed, I'm sure you could get the others by special order if you wanted them - you'd just have to PM or email Mel. The photo below shows a PMII 5-25X in Birdsong <span style="font-style: italic">"Naval Warfare"</span> Green-T coated 34mm Mark 4 Highs atop a 40 MOA base on my <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Tac Ops X-Ray 51</span></span>.
