Any members on here gotten a reputation for doing good work with relatively fast turnaround time?
I don't really want to send my barreled action and new barrel off to the big guys like GAP, etc. because I'm afraid of their backlog. My local smith just left for Moab for two weeks and I wondered if there were any 'Hiders who were known for doing quality work?

My new barrel is just an SPS Tac barrel (got it for the faster twist) that I had ADCO cut back, thread, and profile for suppressor, so it's chambered, etc.

I just need it switched and maybe turned in a tiny bit?

Who do y'all recommend for that?

Thanks!

Mr. Roscoe said that he really doesn't like to hang his name on one unless he gets to true the receiver, lug it, skim-bed it, etc. and this project doesn't have the budget for a $600+ visit to the smith!

It started on a whim, and I can't quite justify that kind of expenditure....yet. It does sound nice, though...maybe I'll save up a little longer!

Thanks, Jason!
