Gunsmithing Who would you recommend to build a .375 CheyTac?

Why don't you ask them who built their rifles. Simple save a lot of bandwidth.
Maybe I am overly competitive.... or just want something "diferent".... Make sense? Thought I would just reach out to the other forum members... and see what they are running, and if they would do the same again.... or maybe go in another direction.

We are a small FFL in Arlington that just started assembling top of the line precision rifles.

We use some of the top gunsmiths in the area.... and only top of the line parts!
Jeff is a great guy! And the only shooter I know that does more research then I do...
A friend will earn your business either with a discount or with an enhanced guarantee that the rifle will preform exactly as you expect. Or both.

A word of advice for the wanting of a custom rifle from a builder out of your area.
Its not uncommon for a well known builder to be backed up to over a year or more out. Understand that going into the deal. ( not all are that backed up).
Choosing a builder close by in my experience will cut down on the "out of site out of mind eye syndrome". You will establish a working relationship with them and they will want your feed back. If a problem happens the fix is easily carried out rather then shipping back and forth several times.
I have experienced this a few times and its very frustrating.
Remember most of the builders are Very Good Guys.
But there are some watch out.
Do your research well and held them to their commentments. If needed draft a contract and hold them to it.

Really good advice.... it is much appreciated. Will be a rather large investment for me....
I have had a few cheytac caliber rifle. If I were to do it again my builders would be.
Vestals Custom (Super good guys and will build it correctly for your bullet specs)
Accurate Ordnance (Again the same as above)
John Beanland (Same as above)
RWS gunsmithibg (he knows how to build a cheytac also)
I would not be so worried about going local, I would find a trusted cheytac smith who has experience with building them and knows how to get them shooting good.
