During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

I'm no fan of Crapperdick, but you are aware that his taking the knee thing had absolutely NOTHING to do with the American Flag or National Anthem right? It was all about protesting against police brutality. Sure he got a little carried away with it for example by wearing the pig socks. Personally, the only problem I have with what he did or should I say what he started in the NFL is that him and the other players protesting are protesting on the company's time. Protest in your own time!
