The way I see it, with the current political environment in America right now, sending your kids to public school is a big gamble. Between the regular reports of school shootings, child sexual abuse, liberal indoctrination, lack of quality personnel and sub par testing results, keeping them at home might be the way to go.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. It is a huge gamble. The lack of social interaction is whats worrying me.

Do I send them to public school and trust my parenting and provide them with what they need know to see through all this sjw/liberal BS or just shelter them from it and mold them the exact opposite of how the school systems are molding the others? Tough call for me

Wake up call for parents to request these types should be removed from the school and taught in a separate location close to industrial areas away from the local schools.

See my earlier post...depending on the quality of the school, your and/or your wife's participation and your core values at home will make your choice easier. We looked into the home schooling route, there are support groups here where I live but the social aspect was not good. When you think about it, most of your kid's friends are made at school. My kids have great friends because we don't allow otherwise.

The liberal indoctrination is really overblown, at least where I live. There are some teachers we don't want and we don't place our kids in those classes. I make no bones about it to the school admin should I get flack about moving them. When the FL school shooting happened and kids walked out in several schools. Mine didn't participate and neither did a lot of their friends.

Good luck
