Why is Noveske temporarily halting N6 's??

Re: Why is Noveske temporarily halting N6 's??

I'd hazard a guess that it has something to do with the new AR-10A receiver that accepts SR-25 pattern magazines like the PMAG20LR. They're probably re-engineering their tooling so they can offer something similar.

I spoke with Joel a couple months back when they first ran dry of the N6s, He indicated that they are currently focusing on 5.56 and .300 Blackout. They plan to have the .308s back out but not before the end of the year. They will also be introducing something new as far as lower receivers go but they had no intention of switching over to the Pmag designs.

We'll see about that. I'm thinking the SR-25/PMAG compatible lower is gonna skyrocket in popularity, especially with those new to the platform.

I have heard the same thing as well. It is not an end to the N6 line, they will be back, and Noveske will continue to produce them. They are just focusing on their standard .223 line of products as well as the new 300 whisper caliber. You would be surprised at how much the new 300 whisper has put a strain on the already "back-ordered" market

Although Armalite is now offering 2 models of the "10A", I don't even think Armalite will give too much. They have too much invested in their own mags..
